This pack of 9 Extend-A-Post Post Extensions are fabricated to be installed onto 1-5/8" top rail only. They are 24", or 2' long, providing an additional 2' of height to your existing fence. Our extensions can be installed at any angle. Extend-A-Post Post Extensions are fabricated using 1-5/8" OD pipe, referring to the OUTSIDE DIAMETER of the pipe itself, the pipe that provides the additional 2', not to be confused with the hinge size of the extension, the hinge that fits onto your existing top rail, which comes in two different sizes: hinge sizes 1-3/8" and 1-5/8". Pictured are 9 1-5/8" Extend-A-Post Post Extenions fabricated specifically for installation onto 1-5/8" top rail only. This specific listing will only fit onto 1-5/8" top rail. Please measure carefully. 9 nuts and bolts are included, as well as 9 aluminum dome caps. We use 1-5/8" outside diameter pipe exclusively, as this provides further durability for customers adding attachments to their Extend-A-Post Post Extensions, such as chain link fabric.
