Refined Kappa Carrageenan for Paper Marbling - 8 Ounce (~227 Grams) resealable Bag. Instructions For Making Carrageenan Marbling Size: Pour 1 Gallon Room Temperature Distilled Water into mixing bucket. Measure out 1/4 Cup (~4 tbs or 23 grams) of Carrageenan Add 1 tbs Carrageenan to distilled water and mix with electric hand blender, continue to add 1 tbs at a time and mix until you have blended the 1/4 cup measured out in step 2. Let rest for 30 minutes and blend again. Cover and refrigerate overnight (longer, if necessary, for bubbles to dissipate). Gently stir with spoon (you do not want to make bubbles, if you do you will have to wait to use the size until they are gone). You can adjust your marbling size by adding more distilled water to it in your marbling pan for your specific needs.
